Technical Content Marketer

London, Dublin, Remote

Evervault is a flexible payment data security & compliance platform built for developers. We help engineering teams find and secure their most sensitive data, like credit cards and PII, and comply with data security & privacy compliance frameworks, such as PCI DSS Compliance. We’re known for our ease of integration, high quality developer experience and product documentation.

Our mission is to make world-class data security effortless, and we’re starting with ensuring our customers build secure payment stacks. Our customers range from small startups building their first product to the largest financial institutions in the world.

About this role

We already have strong signals that SEO and other inbound channels are effective for our GTM strategy. We are looking for an excellent technical writer who is excited to scale this channel. You love to write about technical topics and have a growth-mindset to build a scalable inbound marketing machine.

Our brand is loved and respected in engineering and design communities – you’ll get to partner with some of the best design and product engineers to execute viral content. We have a ton of interesting product topics to write about – everything from payments ecosystem, security practices, customer stories, how to optimize margins, what good DX looks like – and hope you’ll see opportunities for many more.

You'll have tons of autonomy to decide what to write about, but also the support of our marketing team and paid ads to give you insights. We have very strong relationships with many of our customers, and they’re willing to engage with us in customer supported assets.

You will work on things like

  • Writing engaging technical and non technical content, especially eager to go deep on researching highly technical topics
  • Creating top-of-funnel product-focused content marketing such as blog posts and tutorials that attract new engineers to Evervault
  • Working with our marketing, sales, and engineering teams to turn new features into innovative and timely content ideas. You'll manage content production from start to finish
  • Growing and maintaining our content schedule around user personas and segments
  • Analyzing how your content performs and deciding how to adjust our content strategy accordingly
  • You consider writing a craft and have strong opinions on style and what is interesting (and you’re not afraid if some of these opinions are contrarian too)
  • Owning the organic search strategy to drive quality traffic, engagement and revenue growth
  • Recommend and project manage website updates and campaign landing pages

You may be a fit for this role if

  • You've created engaging, well-researched, top-of-funnel content for developers and/or for payments industry
  • You’ve had some experience doing software development, but this doesn't need to have been in a formal role
  • You come up with interesting and timely content ideas - you're not just interested in cranking out the same stuff as everyone else
  • You understand SEO and digital marketing dynamics, demonstrated through experience in blogs, websites, email marketing, content generation or community management
  • You have a strong affinity for using both quantitative analysis (numbers, data, patterns) and qualitative (customer interviews) to drive your decision making
  • You are a Self-starter, willing to take responsibility and own projects. Particularly resourceful, and can evaluate when to ask for help vs. tackle solo
  • You have a high attention to detail, you’re happy to ‘sign your name’ to anything we launch

Bonus: you already have a personal brand, content outlet and/or following - ie. substack
