Evervault is a flexible payment data security & compliance platform built for developers. We help engineering teams find and secure their most sensitive data, like credit cards and PII, and comply with data security & privacy compliance frameworks, such as PCI DSS Compliance. We’re known for our ease of integration, high-quality developer experience, and product documentation.
Our mission is to make world-class data security effortless, and we’re starting with ensuring our customers build secure payment stacks. Our customers range from small startups building their first product to the largest financial institutions in the world.
About this role
We are looking for a Developer Relations Engineer (DevRel) to engage with our end-users, create world-class technical content, and build a thriving developer community. You’ll be the bridge between Evervault and the developers who rely on our platform, ensuring they have the resources, education, and support to succeed. Your work will shape how developers perceive and adopt Evervault for their data security and compliance needs.
This role is perfect for someone who loves to write, speak, and build. You have a passion for developer tools, enjoy technical storytelling, and are eager to engage with engineering communities. You’ll create content, host events, contribute to open-source projects, and serve as a technical voice in the industry.
You may be a fit for this role if you:
- Have familiarity creating technical content through a variety of developer mediums - video, written blogs, docs, and guides.
- Have experience as a developer advocate, DevRel engineer, or technical writer focused on developer-first products.
- Have hands-on experience with developer tools, APIs, and infrastructure (bonus: experience in B2B payments infrastructure or data security).
- Have a passion for writing, teaching, and building technical content that resonates with developers.
- Are comfortable presenting at conferences, running workshops, and hosting online events.
- Have experience growing and managing developer communities (e.g. forums, Slack groups, Discord, or GitHub discussions).
- Enjoy working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and product teams.
- Are a self-starter, resourceful, and able to own projects from ideation to execution.
Bonus points if:
- You already have a personal brand, content outlet, or following (e.g., blog, YouTube, Twitter, GitHub contributions).
- You’ve built something cool, whether it’s an open-source project, side project, or technical blog series.
- You have experience in security, cryptography, or compliance frameworks like PCI DSS.
Why join Evervault?
