Know the card. Confirm the person. Recognize it next time.
BIN Lookup, Cardholder Verification, and PAR Lookup. Three independent checks that answer what a card is, who it belongs to, and whether you've seen it before. Available via API and completely independent of your payment processor.
Checkout flows return almost nothing about the card itself. Evervault's BIN Lookup fills that gap with real-time metadata from 5M+ BIN records covering cards issued globally.
Make more informed transaction routing decisions
Knowing who issued the card, from what country, whether it’s credit or debit etc. This is the information that impacts transaction cost and acceptance rates. Know them upfront and route each transaction to the path most likely to approve, at the lowest cost
Catch card testing in real-time
Card testing attacks often trace back to the same BIN and issuer. Knowing both for every card lets you block further attempts automatically.
Explain declines before they happen
A generic decline leaves the customer guessing. Flag unsupported card types (commercial, prepaid, specific BINs) before a customer hits “pay”, with a message that tells them why.

Cardholder name, address, CVV, email, and phone number are checked against the issuer records. Use them at any time in the card lifecycle. Matched against KYC data, the signal gets even stronger.
Verify payout cards before funds move
Payouts can't be reversed the way a payment can be charged back. Confirm the card belongs to the recipient before you send anything.
Detect fraudulent cards before they're stored
Verify new cards once, when they’re added, and every transaction that follows inherits that check.
Ask for what the fraudster doesn't have
Fraudsters often only have the card number and expiry date. Run checks against what they entered for name, address, etc and the fraud shows up immediately.

Every credential a card uses resolves to a single identifier. Payment Account Reference (PAR) lets you recognize repeated use of the same card across accounts, payment methods, and over time.
Catch repeat fraud
A card can look brand new every time: a fresh virtual number, a wallet instead of manual entry, a reissued PAN. Block repeat abusers creating new accounts with new credentials.
One card, one profile
Every credential a customer uses resolves to the same PAR. Build a single view of the customer instead of fragments scattered across payment methods.
PAR before the transaction, not after
Most payment processors only return a PAR post-auth, if at all. Evervault gives it pre-auth, so you can act before the transaction, not just reconcile after it.

Add critical insights to your payment stack
