Acceptable Use Policy

As a general principle, Customer must not use the Services in any way that is unlawful or illegal, or for any activities that improperly restrict, inhibit, or degrade any other person’s use or enjoyment of Evervault services or the internet, or represent (in Evervault’s sole judgment) an unusually burden on the internet itself are strictly prohibited.

Customer must ensure that the use of the Services by Customer and any Users does not improperly restrict, inhibit, disrupt, degrade or impede the ability of Evervault to deliver the Services.

Customers are responsible for managing their own credentials used to access the service; whether API keys or user accounts and passwords.

Customer must not use, or permit any Users to use, the Software or the Services:

  • for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
  • to encrypt, decrypt or otherwise process (including posting, publishing, transmitting or otherwise making available) any material which is illegal, offensive, threatening, bullying, abusive, indecent, pornographic, defamatory, derogatory, obscene, liable to incite racial hatred or unlawful discrimination or otherwise objectionable or injurious to third parties;
  • in any way that breaches intellectual property rights, whether copyright, trademark, patent or otherwise;
  • in any way that causes, or is likely to cause the Services or access to the Services to be interrupted, damaged or impaired or that may affect the security, integrity or performance of the Services or the IT systems of Evervault or any other person;
  • to send anything which consists of or contains viruses or malicious code; exceed any storage limitations or restrictions notified to you in relation to the storage of any material or content;
  • to circumvent (or attempt to circumvent) user authentication or security of any host, network, or account;
  • effect security breaches or disruptions of internet communications (including accessing data of which customer is not an intended recipient or logging onto a server or account that customer is not expressly authorised to access, deliberate attempts to overload a service, and attempts to “crash” a host or compromise the efficiency and security of internet traffic).
